Letter from the Founder
“The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, and caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:”
Ezekiel 37:1-5 KJV
As I read this word from the Lord, I am reminded of one word: RESURGENCE
Victory House of Kankakee is an 18-month Christian training program and facility, which offers housing, life skills, one on one counseling, local group meetings, street ministry , and interventions to people fighting the battle of addiction.
In 2018 when Victory House burned down, many people were left without adequate, necessary resources to thrive, or even live. Many lives were lost due to drug overdoses and many souls lost due to misdirection.
What I see in Kankakee today is a land of dry bones, but the land can and must be revived. Glory be to God that he has given me and my team guidance and instruction regarding the resurgence of Victory house. We can now continue to do the work that came to a halt back in 2018.
Lost Souls is our Mission. As the doors to Victory house reopen, once again, we will have the physical space and resources to provide vital physical, spiritual and mental needs to the people in Kankakee County.
As the founder of L’SOM ministries, I am asking for your support to ensure that lost souls are found, and dry bones are revived. While I realize drug addiction is not always an easy subject to support, I urge you to consider what our community would be like if drug intervention and prevention did not occur in our community. Will you answer the call the action for your support?

God created you and loves you very much. He wants to have a vibrant relationship with you, and Jesus’ mission proves it. Jesus said, “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost” (Luke 19:10) In the parable of the lost sheep, the shepherd seeks the lost animal “until he finds it” (Luke 15:4). In the parable of the lost coin, the woman sweeps the house “until she finds it” (Luke 15:8) There’s no resignation in those parables. No giving up. The lost must be found.
